First comes the right spot for PIPPI, then the colour. For a dog who is learning, we recommend Blue: it is one of the colours dogs tell apart best.

Why PIPPI

When you can’t go out, PIPPI is there.

Work, bad weather, a puppy who can’t wait, an older dog who can’t hold it: your dog can do his business indoors or on the balcony, cleanly. You buy it once, then wash it and use it again for years. Lifting his leg is his instinct, and PIPPI is designed around it.

PIPPI does not replace walks: it covers the hours when you can’t go out.

How it works

In 3 steps

  1. 1

Find the right spot for PIPPI, based on your space and your dog’s habits.

  2. 2

Leave some room around it: the cone shape helps your dog find the right position on his own.

  3. 3

Hold it by the handle, empty it into the toilet, rinse and use again: clean in a few seconds.

Is your dog unsure in the first few days? That is normal. On the PIPPI Method page you will find the steps to get him used to it, even if he is older or set in his ways, with our help included.

The value

What PIPPI is worth

PIPPI is designed and patented for one specific problem, not just another accessory. In other countries, people spend a lot to meet the same need.

Vertical systems like Doggy Bathroom (USA)about $200-250 + spare parts
Grass or pad subscriptions (outside Italy)from $350 to over $1,000 a year
PIPPI (the Italian original)€35.00 once, then you wash it

PIPPI is the Italian original: you pay once, you wash it, and it lasts for years. Its value is in what it gives you over time, not in a low shelf price.

To be honest

PIPPI is not for you if...

You expect your dog to use it on his own, without you doing anything. Some dogs use it almost straight away, others take weeks: you need the Method, and you spend the first few days together.

You can’t give him time and consistency. Some dogs need several weeks, and being consistent matters more than being quick.

Your dog doesn’t lift his leg (female dogs, or puppies who still squat): for them, training pads are the right choice.

If this sounds like you, it is better to know now: it will save you disappointment. If not, PIPPI is made for you.

The facts

Will it suit your dog?

  • For dogs up to 26 kg
  • 36 cm high, 28 cm across at the base, tray 6 cm deep
  • Soft material: rubber-like, chip-resistant polypropylene
  • Manufacturer: PIPPI di Elisa Ursino, Via delle Genziane 107, 16148 Genova, info@pippi.store

Hygiene: washes in under 10 seconds

The material doesn’t absorb: pee doesn’t soak in and no smell stays behind. Rinse it under the tap or in the toilet, holding it by the handle, and it is ready again.

Why PIPPI and not a copy

Patented, which means protected by law: it is the original. A copy costs about €15-25: unbranded material, no patent, no purpose-made tray, no help. PIPPI costs more, lasts for years, and when you write to us, we reply.

Quick questions

Questions about PIPPI

For as long as you like, we help you understand how to guide your dog. PIPPI works with instinct: a few steps are enough to use it the right way, but it is important to follow them. You bring trust and consistency. The rest we work out together.
No: PIPPI is sold on its own. Training pads help in the first few days, and they remain the right choice for female dogs and for puppies who still squat.
